Deb Rhymer made her debut as a vocalist when she was a young woman. Since then she was sang every style of music. Most recently, Deb has been fronting The Deb Rhymer Blues Band, a long time Victoria favourite. Deb is known for her dynamic voice and unique bluesy style. The band has been featured for many years at the Vancouver Island Blues Bash and other festivals as well as many local clubs. The Deb Rhymer Band has also been hosting the popular Sunday Blues Services blues jam for over 8 years. The first Deb Rhymer Band CD was released in 2006 and received excellent reviews. A new Cd is in the works scheduled for release in 2016.
Victor WellsVictor is guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter with a 30-year performing career; playing blues, funk, R & B, reggae, and classic rock in every kind of venue: outdoor music festivals, rock and blues clubs, pubs, and private corporate events. His vast experience ranges from solo performance to an 8-piece soul revue and every kind of band in between: R & B/funk, blues, reggae and ska, country and western, classic rock. His career has taken him literally around the world: beginning in Chicago, then Toronto, London, Paris, Tokyo, Vancouver, and he currently resides in Victoria, B.C. As a songwriter, Victor has produced two original CDs (Victor H. Wells,III 1999, and The Dubious Bros. 2004), and three CDs as guitarist, backup vocalist and co-writer with Chris Gilburg, as well as numerous LPs, and CDs as a session player or singer in Vancouver, Victoria and Tokyo. Victor has written or co-written about 300 songs. Victor is currently performing mainly on the west coast of Canada as a soloist; with The Variables, a Victoria-based roots 4-piece; and as a duo with Chris Taylor (Dubious Bros., Flatland Six) on the harmonica.
